Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez Team Up for a Space Adventure: Introducing 'Not Alone'

Following 'Dune,' a franchise about an interstellar holy war, Timothée Chalamet is teaming up with Selena Gomez for a far more family-friendly space adventure this time. The new animated film 'Not Alone,' in which the pair will voice the lead roles, will hit screens on April 16, 2027.

Chalamet's cryptic Instagram post the night before, featuring a rocket emoji and the caption "New movie announcement tomorrow :)", had already gotten fans excited. The announced project, 'Not Alone,' will be Chalamet's first feature-length animated project. In the film, Chalamet voices Joe, "an introverted rocket mechanic," while Gomez voices Fran, the "astro-botanist" who invents "the first plant-fueled rocket." When the two come together for the rocket's first launch, they fall for each other despite not being particularly skilled at romance.

Adding color to the story are three adorable aliens named Dunk, Welly, and Shirm, who take shelter in Joe's home. Fleeing from Officer Zandro, a bumbling intergalactic cop, the aliens hope to use Fran's rocket to make it safely back to their home planet.

The film's star-studded voice cast includes Chalamet and Gomez, along with Rob Brydon, Diane Morgan, and Jamie Demetriou voicing the three aliens, respectively. 'Ted Lasso' star Brett Goldstein voices Officer Zandro, with Allison Janney and Lamorne Morris rounding out the supporting cast.
