Pedro Pascal has carried galaxies and post-apocalyptic wastelands on his shoulders; in 'Behemoth!' he's carrying a cello.

In the new trailer for Tony Gilroy's long-awaited drama, Pascal plays Alex, a world-renowned cellist returning to Los Angeles after a two-decade tour. Alex finds himself swept into the invisible machinery of Hollywood's film-scoring industry, with every new composition threatening to reopen the wounds that once drove him away from this city.

Gilroy, the creator of 'Andor,' steps back into the director's chair for the first time since 2007's 'Michael Clayton.' The film also stars Rosamund Pike, Brian Tyree Henry, and Bill Nighy. The trailer carries the classic hallmarks of the "portrait of the artist" genre, walking the fine line between artistic obsession and personal collapse.

Released by Searchlight Pictures, 'Behemoth!' opens in limited theaters on December 25, 2026, and is expected to be a strong contender for awards season.
