"Reacher" Season 5 Casting Revealed: Jay Baruchel and Kevin Durand to Face Off Against Ritchson

Less than two weeks ahead of 'Reacher's' season 4 premiere, Prime Video showed it was already preparing the next step: four new names have joined the season 5 cast.

Amanda Ip, Jay Baruchel, Ciara Bravo, and Kevin Durand will appear opposite Alan Ritchson's Jack Reacher in the fifth season, adapted from Lee Child's novel 'Make Me.' Under executive producer and showrunner Nick Santora, Reacher once again finds himself, true to the classic formula, in the middle of a deadly criminal conspiracy.

The casting breaks down as follows: Amanda Ip will play Michelle Chang; Jay Baruchel will play Chief Buck Bauer; Ciara Bravo will play Eunice; and Kevin Durand will play Nokes. Canadian actress Ip is known for playing Carmen on CTV's 'Transplant,' and her credits also include 'Cross,' 'Hudson & Rex,' and 'Plan B.'

Baruchel is an experienced name known for films like 'This Is the End,' 'Knocked Up,' 'Tropic Thunder,' 'BlackBerry,' and the Oscar-winning 'Million Dollar Baby,' and he also voices Hiccup in the 'How to Train Your Dragon' franchise. Kevin Durand is most recently remembered for playing Proximus Caesar in 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.'

Season 4 is airing on Prime Video now; production on season 5 will begin afterward.
