Karol G's Tropitour Kicked Off in Chicago: The Full Opening-Night Setlist
The Colombian superstar launched her long-awaited Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour at Soldier Field in Chicago. The night was highlighted by the premiere of the new song "Matadora" and a stage design fully devoted to the Tropicoqueta universe.

Karol G launched her long-awaited Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour on Friday (July 24) at Soldier Field in Chicago. If her historic headlining set at Coachella was any indication, the Colombian superstar delivered a conceptual show that fully embraced the Tropicoqueta universe: showgirls, feathers, pineapples, flowers, parrots, and plenty of orange.
In honor of the tour, Karol also debuted a new song, "Matadora," marked by a hard-hitting perreo backbone and lyrics that embrace her own sexuality. In a short video shared on social media on the eve of the opening night, the singer is seen dancing to the provocative reggaetón track.
On select dates of the Live Nation-organized tour, Karol will be joined by Becky G, Greeicy, and Elena Rose. Rose previously told Billboard the invitation felt "completely organic": "Karol invited us, and it meant so much to me."
After the Chicago opener, the tour will hit stops including SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, before heading to Latin America and Europe. Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, the UK, and Italy are among the countries to be visited for the rest of 2026 and into early 2027.
The tour supports the singer's latest album, 'Tropicoqueta,' which debuted at Number One on the Top Latin Albums chart and Number Three on the all-genre Billboard 200. All 20 songs on the album charted on the Hot Latin Songs chart, a first for Karol G.
